Congratulations to our very own UPPER 90 FC player Ariana Vakos for being a BACK TO BACK USYS Futsal National Champion after incredible wins last weekend in Kansas City!
In pool play at Nationals, her team defeated a team from Kentucky with a shut out and stellar performance by Ariana in goal, a 0-2 win of a California team, and even another shut-out win vs. Forge from Madison, Wisconsin in the semifinals. The team went on to defeat Futsal ID from California 3-2 in the final match! Those were the only 2 goals to get past Ariana the whole weekend of games. She was handed the trophy as MVP by the coach. It was an exciting weekend!
